Imperial Crane Expanded Their Liebherr Fleet
While attending the world’s leading trade fair for construction, building material, mining machines and construction vehicles in Munich, Germany, Imperial Crane Services, Inc. purchased two Liebherr cranes to expand their existing fleet.
Imperial purchased a LTM 1300-6.2, a 350 ton capacity mobile crane from Ehingen, Germany and also with two LR 1300SX’s, the market leading 300 tonnes capacity lattice boom crawler crane produced in Nenzing, Austria. In addition, Imperial Crane is finalizing specification discussions for their purchase of the new LTM 1450-8.1, an impressive new 450 ton crane with VarioBallast, the infinitely adjustable radius counterweight that varies ballast radius from 7m to 5m. The LTM 1450-8.1 with VarioBallast was unveiled at the 2016 Bauma trade fair.
Representatives from Liebherr stated that it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet with the senior management of Imperial Crane Services during Bauma and expand the ongoing business relationship. It was noted that the Bauma purchases were an excellent follow up to Imperial’s five mobile crane purchases during past few years including a LTM 1500-8.1, a LTM 1200-5.1, two LTM 1060-3.1’s and a LTM 1130-5.1 as well as their purchase of two LR 1300SX’s crawler cranes in 2015. Daniel Pitzer, president of Liebherr Cranes, Inc. stated: “We are always pleased to secure additional business from existing customers. Repeat business validates our ongoing commitment to offer market leading cranes that exceed our customers’ expectations.”
BJ Bohne, President and CEO of Imperial Crane Services Inc. commented on the purchases: “Imperial’s promise to our customers is to provide safety centered lift solutions that include cranes and operators with unsurpassed experience and performance.
